RISHA GORIG

Risha Gorig is a Brooklyn based multi media artist/composer/and choreographer. She has worked with site specific outdoor projects , performance dance pieces, musical performances, and video installations. She combines many of these elements that mix technology with fragility of humanity. She is interested in metaphors of time, death, and life.

Her work has an ethereal feeling to it other worldly. She uses images a lot of elements such as water, fire, and the wind in her pieces. All her work encompasses metaphors of our existence. She uses these whether it is in a film, a performance, a song or an installation. Critics have described her work as"Visually Stunning", and "Hauntingly melancholy and Out of this world". Strong emotions are evoked through her work.
